Boy Scouts of America, Zekiah District
The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law. The Zekiah District is comprised of Packs, Troops and Crews from Charles County with age-appropriate youth programs. The Cub Scout program (Packs) is for young boys from First Grade through Fifth Grade and have yet to turn 11. The Boy Scout program (Troops) is for young men from the end of 5th grade or are 11, until their 18th birthday. The Venturing program (Crews) are for young men and women that have finished the 8th grade and are between 14 and their 21st birthday.

Boy Scout Troop 410 - Pomfret, Maryland
Our goal is to help young men learn leadership skills while participating in and enjoying outdoor activities and community projects. Our members live in the Pomfret, White Plains, Waldorf, and Bryans Road areas. Come out and scout with us!

A small group of writers that meet once a month to read and critique eachother's work. Some members have novels in progress, while others simply enjoy writing short pieces to share with the group. No matter one's skill level, the group offers a safe haven for writers to enjoy their craft. Join us some evening at the Lexington Park Library from 7pm to 9pm on the first Wednesday of every month.
